New pool: London underwater photography courses
fishinfocus now teaches London underwater photography courses. We thrilled to be able to offer courses at London School of Diving (Chiswick). This new pool venue will enable us to offer courses on any day of the week as well as weekends.
LSD is long established as one of London’s premier dive centres and their on site facilities are superb with classrooms, a private pool and kitchen facilities.

The shop in Cranleigh has been quietly evolving this winter, with more and more cool kit instore. This really is much more than just a dive centre. There’s not just the camera dept from fishinfocus, but also freediving, snorkeling, open water swimming, triathlon and kids’ water toys.
To reflect this, there’s a new name above the door. But don’t worry, you will still get the same great service from an experienced team that genuinely love what they do. There are also regular social nights, open to everyone. Why not come along on Thurs 20th March to see everything for yourself. Goodbye Oxygene Surrey. Hello Flippers n Fins!

As an independent retailer, I have been able to choose those gadgets I really believe in. LIDS 2014
It’s very nearly showtime! The London International Dive Show (LIDS 2014) is always a hive of activity, but this year there is even more reason to head to Excel this February. I will be on stand OU620 for both events!
LIDS kicks off 15 & 16th Feb, only weeks before what I hope is going to be a bumper UK dive season. It is always a bustling event, but of course for me, the place to be is the photo zone. The leading lights of UK underwater photography will be there, with talks for all, including Scuba Travel’s in house photo pro Duxy. I am looking forward to checking out all the latest kit developments, accessories and of course new cameras. I won’t miss my chance to vote in this year ever popular photo competition – make sure you vote too!
The Active Travel show runs 13-16th Feb and offers 4 shows for 1 ticket! And there is a whole zone dedicated to adventure photography… which includes us divers! It’s easy to forget just how versatile today’s cameras and accessories really are and I will be looking to pick up some tips from other photographers that I can use underwater as well as on the surface.

See me at the NEC Dive Show
For the first time in quite a while, I will not be selling cameras at the NEC dive show. But I just could not stay at home and miss all the fun!
I will be at the NEC dive show on both Saturday and Sunday. Come along to the Scuba Travel stand 918-920 to find me! Alongside Scuba Travel’s photo pro Duxy, I will be on hand to chat to anyone interested in underwater photography, especially UK courses.
I am also looking forward to attending some of the event’s photo talks. The line up on the centre stage is filled with some of underwater photography’s most respected names.
